I suppose the difference is the range of animals and different species.

One day I'll get to spend more time in the States and Canada - would love to see more. Your description of Utah is interesting and good to know about - we don't know enough about the different States.

Glad you enjoyed hearing about the Safari and for bringing our attention to Utah and its attributes.

have a good weekend .. all the best
Hilary Melton-Butcher
Positive Letters Inspirational StoriesHilary Melton-Butcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596532480645510678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6401528799218373095.post-13973255273675776662009-08-22T08:05:10.629+01:002009-08-22T08:05:10.629+01:00Hi Liara .. yes quite often and listened to the fi...Hi Liara .. yes quite often and listened to the film track rather more often! and I have the book too: very evocative music.

As you say each animal has its lore and I'd like to do stories on those sometime .. in fact there's so many things I'd like to write on!! Still it's much better to have lots of ideas.

The Alexander McCall Smith books are fun too and so African in the way they've been portrayed on tv/film.

So - thanks for your comments, always appreciated - especially the book recommendations and thoughts ..

Have a good weekend - Hilary Melton-Butcher
Positive Letters Inspirational StoriesHilary Melton-Butcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596532480645510678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6401528799218373095.post-80901253269604030442009-08-22T07:58:37.398+01:002009-08-22T07:58:37.398+01:00Hi Daphne .. That sounds very interesting. Campi...Hello Hilary,

That sounds very interesting. Camping can be very fun. In the State of Utah their are so many things to do like that. You have to choose if you want to go to the mountains, lakes, desert, National Parks. Then it is what are you going to do when you get their- nature walks, backpacking, riding all kinds of motorized things for fun. Fishing, boating and on and on. This is a great State to live in if you like to do these kinds of things. That is just summer time, Winter has it own set of things to do if you like to play in the snow. If not you go to Southern Utah where it is warm all year.

Thank you for this lovely post, Sorry it got so long. We do like this State for all the reasons above.

Dan and Deanna "Marketing Unscrambled"Marketing Unscrambled, Home editionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10716403114388277622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6401528799218373095.post-59115261880154654522009-08-22T04:02:04.947+01:002009-08-22T04:02:04.947+01:00Your posts about the safari is remarkable. Each African creature has myths and stories written about it. The Alexander McCall Smith books about the Lady's #1 Detective Agency in Botswana are also priceless.Liara Coverthttp://blog.dreambuilders.com.aunoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6401528799218373095.post-56425210063167999952009-08-22T00:56:46.024+01:002009-08-22T00:56:46.024+01:00Hilary,

One of my life dreams was to go on Safari and Africa, and I'm so happy that I did that a few years back. So I was drawn to your post immediately because of the topic. I'll try a safari in my backyard some day - thanks for the idea!Daphne @ Joyful Dayshttp://www.joyfuldays.comnoreply@blogger.com
