The master of Villainous Tours .. Mr Stephen Tremp of Breakthrough fame - is hosting me over on his blog - please pay us a visit!
Tomorrow ... Stephen will be here with his guest post ... this will be the first one on this blog!
Looking forward to seeing you here and there! Have a great week everyone ... Hilary
Dear Mr Postman - this is really exciting and I know my mother will be so amused that I have a friend from California here on my blog talking about Wormholes and Villains .. she just loves the interaction! Fortunately she's warm and cozy in our now freezing weather .. the snow melted quite quickly.

Hi JD .. thanks so much for picking these words out from my post over on Stephen’s blog .. I agree – my favourite villains .. usually comedic to a point .. don’t like the real ones!

ReplyDeleteHi Hilary. I'm trying to get caught up on my blog reading today. I checked out your guest post over at Stephen's blog a little while ago.

ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting assemblage! I see you are collecting inspirational stories to share with your mother: a wonderful way to organize your blog themes. Does she like science fiction as well?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit to my blog.
Hi LakeViewer .. sort of .. they were interesting titbits that would interest and stimulate my mother after my mother's strokes and my uncle, as he was able to go out less, .. now they've evolved into posts that interest me .. and others .. something unique to offer readers.
ReplyDeleteMy mother now really can't take too much in .. occasionally we have chats about things - but it's mainly letter reading from family and friends .. and sometimes interesting bits and pieces - Alfred the Great and his time of life .. occurred recently!
So I keep information on hand .. and hope to get the computer set up at her bed side .. then I can show her things, when she can take some of it in .. not always ..
Thanks for your interest .. Hilary
Hi Hilary.
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment over on Stephen's blog and was not able. I was asked for a password??? So, I will leave my comment here instead.
I had no idea about the evolution of the word villain. None whatsoever. It never ceases to amaze me how our language evolves. This was very interesting. Thanks Hilary. Great research.
Hi Davina .. pass!! No idea! I'm sure he's not wormhole encrypted!
ReplyDeleteJust glad to hear you enjoyed the tale of villein to villain .. and as you say - we just don't realise the changes to our language - & now it must be happening so quickly under our eyes.
Enjoy your weekend .. cheers - Hilary
