Fear of the unknown I suppose. It makes little sense to me to think that we are alone and then I go down the route of wondering where it all ends, what is infinity? Why are we here? Such thoughts gave me many a sleepless night as a child LOL! As for setting up home on a distant planet - perhaps one day that will be as simple as moving to Australia is now.
