Dear Mr Postman - my mother's hearing remains and all seems well - we've been watching a little of the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India and watched one of the World Championship Cycling Races in Melbourne, Australia - she loved the views of the waterfront and the city!

  8. Hilary,

Thanks so much for your insights on my blog! I definitely want to persuade you to become a repeat contributor in the future. I have a few posts that I add to a rotation that I retweet over time. Your will definitely make that rotation.

Your posts will be as relevant next week, next month, and next year as it is today. Through my rotation, new people will come across your post many times in the future. Thanks again for your contribution to my readers.

  12. Hi Tony .. gosh – thank you! I’ve enjoyed the process .. and would love to join you on your blog as a guest more often – that’s a wonderfully kind gesture .. thanks!!

Also that you’re going to retweet me! For someone who doesn’t use Twitter .. and should be – that will be an incentive to get moving and start using social media a little more .. so I shall get on with it!

That will be wonderful to have new readers .. though I love my present ones too! .. but we can all learn so much from each other –

Thanks Tony for trusting me to be a ‘good guest’! I’ve enjoyed my time and would love to participate with you in the future .. lovely seeing you here & thanks so much for the kind and supportive comment ... have a happy rest of the week .. Hilary

  19. Okey dokey. I'll check it out. Isn't the Internet awesome. We can communicate in real time anywhere any time. A hundred years ago the Trans-Atlantic cable must have seemed like the ulimate in high tech communication.

You're right .. the Trans Atlantic cable .. you'd have thought would have hauled us back across the Atlantic to be umbilically joined with the States again ... well perhaps we are anyway?!

  32. Hilary, your posts invite your mom to embark on an intriguing journey with you that transcends time, physical borders and other mental barriers. You remind everyone that joy is found within right now. We can ride the magic carpet of the imagination and go where it takes us or deliberately create our own itinerary to uplift spirits and expand the mind.

  33. Hi Liara .. you certainly nail the concept of the journey we're on .. my mother instigates most of her own 'travelling' .. and we do ride that magic carpet of imagination. Then I embellish it with fun thoughts as we laugh and giggle our way along with the flow of her mind ..

It is uplifting and mind expanding - thanks for these words ..

It is certainly an adventuresome journey .. great seeing you here - Hilary
