Remembering Cee of Cee's Fun Foto Challenge ...

Dan Antion, along with Marsha Ingrao, are posting in her memory … I didn't know her – but I'm happy to support Dan and many blogging friends.

Appropriate links at Dan's site … here 'Remembering Cee'.

Victoria Falls Bridge under construction in 1905 – as part of the Cape to Cairo railway – an unfinished project in the late 1800s, early 1900s …

Construction across the Zambezi in 1905
... so many won't get to finish their project of life … remember we have whatever time we have left – let us not waste our days live and enjoy …

With thoughts to Cee's family and friends on this her birthday day … as too Dan and Marsha, who have their birthdays today ... with wishes ...

Unknown to me, all of them - but no less the impact of a life shortened and how we must treasure our time... YAM xx

Like YAM I had no prior knowledge, but it is patently true that we all must do our utmost to make the best use of the time we have. Perhaps in some small way we may leave our mark, be remembered by people whose lives we touched. Sue was a sterling example of that. Her memory will continue to be a blessing for all of us. Hugs - David

With each passing day we realise that we must make the most of our time . . . but the days pass so quickly. I'm sad for anyone who has lost someone they care about,

That's a perfect photo, Hilary. A sad, albeit appropriate metaphor and Cee loved bridges. Thanks for sharing this photo and your thoughts.

Yes, a sad photo but a reminder our days are limited and we probably won't finish everything we set out to accomplish.

@ Yam - I understand ... sometimes a connection is there - for me it is Dan and thus I joined in. We must treasure our time on this earth ...

@ David - yes many of us relate to each other and our thoughts as you've done here ... we link across. I've lost three family friends born on the 7th over the recent years. Sue (Elephant's Child) particularly touched many of us profoundly ... as my two tributes (earlier posts) acknowledged ...

@ Janice - I know time goes so quickly ... especially if, as I'm doing, being very slow. I, like you, feel for anyone who has lost a close friend recently ...

@ Dan - thanks - I found that Victoria Falls one, which has family connections, but also the links for time passing so quickly and at times suddenly losing someone. I'm glad I joined in.

@ Alex - a sad photo, but as you mention we don't know how long we have ...

Thanks everyone - always good to see you all and keep the contacts flowing - cheers Hilary

Cee was a major force in the photoblogging community! May she R.I.P. 🌹 I understand Dan is continuing her weekly challenges and thus, her memory lives on. 🕯️Thank you for the tribute, Hilary, and the reminder that life is short.

Wow - that bridge photo posted is really good. Nice tribute by them, and thank you for linking. Time....too fast and too slow. I try to take moments and enjoy them. Cheers and have a good weekend.
