Balance of Nature ... Jacqui's book launch ...

Apologies one and all … life has caught up with me – Jacqui booked her 'date' with me back in December tying into the launch phase …

Jacqui's book ... without
the extra title would help -
but ... so be it

... times were free then – but, as happens, life and people caught on … and here we are in the New Year – with too much happening in February …

Hospital today, but that's another story, a new appointment booked for next Friday … so life can go on and I can finish this week, then my talk, I'm giving, on Mrs Beeton, to our History group, on Monday – which I wasn't expecting to be asked to do in February – ah well!!

Daylight is getting longer … bliss … and I'm sure my mojo will properly return soon – but for now, my Balance of Nature is there … but pretty static …

Jacqui's 'handle' for us all to use ...

Minor adjustments to the 'see-saw' and this week will have passed off happily … I'll be back properly soon …

For now – Jacqui deserves all the kudos we give her … I've loved the earlier books in the series, and this one I need to order and read – then I'll do a post anon … my choice was 'Book Review' … firstly: Do what you committed to do!! Failed in this case …

Crocuses (or Crocii)
Spring is in the air

Congratulations to Jacqui for this launch – amazing achievement … and she's given us much to think about along our ancestral eras …

Thanks for thoughts re hospital - just an outpatient visit, similarly next week - no emergency ... thank goodness.  I'll be pleased when this is all resolved!!

I read the books by Jean M Auel a number of years ago and Jacqui Murray's series seems to chime with those. I look forward to reading them.
Good fortune with your hospital appointment/s.

Haven't read her books ... Sounds interesting ... Here too days are getting longer ... Sun is out by 8 at least ... Good luck with hospital visits.

I'm worried about your hospital visit and you're worried about missing my post--DO NOT GIVE IT A THOUGHT! Keep yourself healthy so you can inspire my brain.

Thank you, Priscilla. I too am thinking more about Hilary's health. I will be awaiting an update.

I do like the longer days, too. I don't have to turn as many lights on! Thanks for the visit.

@ Priscilla - I so agree with you ... and I'm looking forward to reading it soon ... hospital was an outpatient appt for something that I need to be dealt with ... not too serious, thankfully - appreciate your concern.

@ Alex - life is life isn't it ... luckily not in the hospital, just a 'quick' visit - another next Friday. Absolutely congratulations to Jacqui.

@ Yam - thanks so much ... I'd hope to get to put my post up for Jacqui, but was too muddled and befuddled!! All well ...

@ John - good to see you and absolutely congratulations to Jacqui ...

@ Janice - you'd enjoy Jacqui's books - they're really good. Hospital visits are interesting! All well - life goes on ...

@ Pradeep - you, too, would enjoy her books - give them a go. The sun - what's that?! Lucky you. Thanks re the hospital visit ... all ok ...

@ Jacqui - my hospital visit, just adds to last year's many, but another for next Friday ... one day I'll get sorted. Thanks for accommodating me re the change ... and ok - I note that I must stay healthy. to keep inspiring you!! Thanks!!

@ Jacqui - thanks for replying to everyone ... they'll appreciate and value your replies ...

@ Monika - thanks for the visit - Jacqui's amazingly organised and able to adjust to my muddles!! Life carries on - just February threw me a few extras that I wasn't expecting ... all well, or nearly!

@ Debbie - thanks for coming ... I wouldn't be surprised if Jacqui's does really well. Thanks re the health - it's in hand, slow though it may be ..

Thanks everyone ... appointment was easy, rearranged another possibility for next week, and put into the system another 'urgent' request ... life ticks along - cheers to you all - we might be in for a chilly spell, though coming back from the hospital (early morning) it was very Spring-like ... cheers Hilary

Hope all is well with the visit you have - and the history talk for the group. Cheers to the post for balance of nature and the bit of joy I felt whan you briefly mentioned that "Daylight is getting longer … bliss … " because just reading that sent a boost my way!

I would love to hear your talk on Mrs Beeton - what is the history group about and what sort of topics are you most interested in? She was so terribly young :(
Be well

Sounds like a great book and cool you are giving a talk about Mrs Beeton I looked her up and if it is about Esabella Beeton, she sounds like an interesting lady. Also good to see spring is announcing itself We start soon at autumn Take care Hillary

Congrats to Jacqui. I hope you continue to be well.

Congratulations to Jacqui. I hope you are doing well.

@ TW - well she's so well organised and such a delightfully helpful person and blogger ... while her books are so good to read ...

@ Priorhouse - I know seeing the sun and slightly longer days, getting longer do make my heart sing a little more. Hospital was interesting, but helpful with next week's appointment to come and my history talk is done ... just getting the slide show organised isn't that easy for some reason - so be it ... we'll get there.

@ Hels - she lived such a short life ... but what achievements they both made to publishing in the late 1800s. Our history group covers an era of history ... this time it's the Victorians - I usually give a talk, or two or three - as this time ... two more to come ...

@ Marja - I love Jacqui's books ... they read so well, and to me are true to their times, when our life was starting off as we explored the earth. Mrs Beeton was quite extraordinary ... and has been very fascinating to find out about her and her legacy ... I'm sorry you're down under!! I'm looking forward to our longer days ...!!

@ Liz - thank you ... something needs to be sorted health wise, but not ill per se. Jacqui's book deserves recognition ...

@ Jeff - thanks for coming by - good to see you. I'm here and after next weekend I hope I'll be feeling easier ...

Cheers to you all - another bright light day - lucky us in the south-east of this little country - enjoy your weekend - Hilary

Kudos to Jacqui and this good press at any time. Your health is a priority. Glad you can do your talk. You do persevere and some sunshine helps too. Take care! Valentines to you this whole week. Plus your Brits seem to shine in some winter sports - hurrah for all at the Olympics. Cheers, my friend.

Jacqui's book, as always is amazing and you're going to love it. Concentrate on getting hale and hearty.
Hugs to you both.

@ Elizabeth - Jacqui's been brilliant with her 'branding' etc for these series. Hospital was interesting ... another booking this Friday - such is life!!

@ Joanne - I agree total kudos to Jacqui ... too much occurred this year, which took me by surprise. I was happy giving the talk on Mrs Beeton and it went off well. Life must go on ... the sunshine will lighten things even more ... we've had some success at the Olympics ... a few 4ths - sad for them.

@ Kymber - good to see you and thanks for the wishes for me, as too Jacqui and her publication ... I will order mine shortly.

@ Keith - I sure hope so ... life is interesting in many ways ...

@ Sandra - I know I'll enjoy the read ... and things be happening health-wise ... let's hope improvement also.

Cheers to you all - thanks for visiting and supporting Jacqui in her incredible adventures - Hilary

Hilary Melton-Butcher said...

Thanks Sandra for both your thoughts ... things are improving, at last!! Mrs Beeton was really interesting - she only had a short life ... but 'her' book is still published over 150 years later!! Cheers Hilary

Hi, Hilary. I missed this post while I was away in The Bahamas. Our days were busy and I barely checked blogs the entire week I was there. I am not familiar with Jacqui’s works but I wish her well with the book. With praise from you, I am sure it is a good read. Take good care of yourself. Very best wishes - David
